Pdazzler

Pdazzler is my own view of  cancer and its treatment as practiced in the world today.    This information is provided in the hope you or someone you love can benefit from my experiences.

While I concentrate my efforts and insight on America the problems and solutions I discuss affect most of the modern world.

Over twenty years ago I was diagnosed with Stage IV follicular non-hodgkin’s lymphoma.   The disease is described by medical science as chronic and incurable.

At the time of diagnosis my life expectancy was 5 – 7 years max if I followed the guidelines and treatment regimens as suggested by my oncologist.

I underwent a form of chemotherapy called CHOP.   At the time it was the “silver bullet” for fNHL and said to have a 90% chance of placing the disease into remission.   There was also a 95%+ chance the disease would return with a vengeance within the next 7 years.

Within a year of achieving remission I underwent an epiphany when a medical error put the wrong contrasting dye into my veins resulting in my immediate entry into shock.  It was as close to death as I have yet come.

That was the last time I subjected myself to modern medical technology for tracking any disease and the last time I consulted an oncologist regarding my health and well being.

Over the intervening years I have learned there are 1000′s of roads to the same destination and not all approaches work the same for everyone.  Take the time to do your own research.  Use the information in Pdazzler.com to find hints which could help you determine your correct personal approach.

Virtually all cancers can be managed, controlled and possibly even cured.   That’s the main subjects of this blog.
