Survival Choices – Part 1

Long term cancer survival is based on a series of choices, some good and some bad.

“There is no great mystery as to cancer’s cause. Cancer’s cause stares one in the face every time you brush your teeth or put on your lipstick. Cancer’s cause looks you in the eye every time you look into the mirror.” – Pdazzler

Looking for cancer's cause? Look into the mirror.
Cancer’s Cause?

The same logic applies to cancer’s return. For the vast majority of cancer patients (reportedly 96%) the time from remission to relapse is to be cherished and enjoyed for sure as the sun will rise in the morning cancer will return. And, just like our original brush with cancer can be traced to epigenetic factors we have control over, the relapses we suffer can be traced there as well.

My latest relapse is no different. After 20 years dealing with follicular non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma yet another relapse is attributable solely to my own actions. I had completed a rigorous full body detoxification and satisfied myself all traces of mercury poisoning had been successfully removed. I was exercising regularly, felt exceedingly well and Navarro Cancer Test numbers were in the normal range.

My operating theory was fNHL could be cured assuming all triggering antagonists were removed from my body and my surroundings. With mercury gone and an anti-cancer diet I believed my body could now remain cancer free. The only thing left to do was to test my theory. I simply stopping taking the multitude of orthomolecular supplements I was ingesting daily to keep fNHL at bay.

You may recall that during mercury detoxification following removal and replacement of amalgam fillings I had suffered an extremely serious fatal form of relapse know as Ocular fNHL.

Following successful alternative treatment to overcome Ocular fNHL and completing complete mercurly detoxification in early 2010 I went cold turkey, no high dose Vitamin C, no maintenance dose of Laetrile, no Low Dose Naltrexone, no electronic blood purification, no Curcumin, no Budwig, no Magnesium, no Selenium, no Zinc, no Beta-carotene, no Vitamin E, no Chromium Picolinate, no Alpha Lipoic Acid, nothing for the first time in twenty years.

In July the first nodules started appearing in my chin line. I wasn’t too alarmed at first as many things such as allergies can cause lymph nodes to temporarily increase in size. By August I had more bumps and had to admit the experiment at being cured of cancer was a failure. (Drat) Nothing I hate worse than admitting fNHL “may actually be incurable” as mainstream medicine claims.

Little did I realize a previous choice I had made was the likely culprit? Now, after 9 months of the most life threatening challenge of the last 20 years, cancer was about to shake me to my very foundation.

While I am not out of the woods I need to share this most recent series of choices, good and bad, that very nearly ended my life.

When I originally wrote this post I included the entire multifaceted protocol I followed to once again knock down fNHL and gain the upper hand on cancer activity. At that time I was not aware of the life threatening choice I has making by the inclusion of one prescription drug.

That bad choice was Doxycycline. Doxycycline had saved my life from a 100% fatal form of Ocular fNHL. Using Doxycycline again as part of a protocol without adequate knowledge of the serious “Catch 22” properties Doxycycline possesses nearly cost me my life.

You are encouraged to read the write up on Doxycycline with its amazing ability to both cure cancer and cause internal havoc in every inch of your body.

While this past January brought remission of fNHL symptoms and a clean Navarro test it was the beginning of the most challenging and rewarding period of my 20+ years of long term cancer survival.

This is Part 1 of a complex, often frightening series of choices that will bring you up to date on my current state of health. It’s hoped you will learn from my mistakes and gain understanding as to how long term cancer survival is the making of choices.

As a survivor you will make choices everyday based on what you read, hear, try and discard. Some choices will prove excellent and some will prove folly. Many will be a waste of time.

As you read through the “Survival Choices” in the following series of posts think about the choices you have made and will be making in your own personal journey of survival.
