Toxic Hazard

Determining whether you need to remove / replace your mercury amalgam fillings is the most important question to be answered.   That is because you needlessly place your health at some risk if you remove them unnecessarily.   And, the expense involved in the removal / replacement procedure is considerable, not to mention the time, money and discomfort involved in the procedure and the detoxification process.

I stress this point because I failed to follow my own advice.   At the time I was ignorant and followed misinformation gleaned from multiple sources, many online.    That misinformation resulted in improper detoxification and a re occurrence of Follicular non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in a particularly deadly form of Ocular NHL.

Ok, that said what follows is the correct procedure to determine your need to remove mercury amalgam fillings.  First, you need to purchase some education materials.   There is no short cut here.   Your doctor is not qualified to do this work for you.   Skipping this step puts you on the very path I followed to near disaster.

Purchase the text book “Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities” by Andrew Hall Cutler.   To determine whether you are part of the 10 percentile seriously affected by mercury you need to do a laboratory test on your hair.   The correct interpretation of this test requires the information contained in Cutler’s text.

I give you my personal guarantee your doctor is not versed in the nuances of a correct interpretation of the test.   Skip this step and you risk failing to recognize mercury as a carcinogen in your cancer.   With this text and careful reading you will be able to make a correct interpretation.

"Hair Test Interpretation"

The hair test you will need to order is called – “Doctor’s Data Hair Elements” test.  Your physician can order for you but by far the easiest and probably cheapest way is to order the test online at Direct Laboratory Services, Inc.  (You will need to search Direct Lab’s site for “hair elements”.)

No matter how you order (through doctor or online) the Doctor’s Data Hair Elements test kit is mailed directly to your address.   The kit contains specific instructions on how to harvest your hair so the sample is taken from the proper locations, either the head (preferred) or body.

The hair can be harvested in such a way that it doesn’t show.   If someone in the family isn’t handy enough to help your barber is perfectly capable of helping you acquire the needed hair sample.

When your hair is harvested it is mailed off, along with questionnaire to Doctor’s Data for processing and interpretation.   If you ordered online the findings will be sent direct to you by email and snail mail.  If you order through your doctor the information will be sent there for dissemination to you.   I personally ordered the hair test online as the correct interpretation or the hair test requires calculations and directions contained in the Cutler text, something 99.9% of doctors are not familiar with.

Ok, you accomplished the D. D. Hair Elements Test and you have your results back.   Now the work begins.    At this point a lot of people get excited by the bar graphs on the Doctor’s Data test results and the written interpretation provided by Doctor’s Data.

It’s all great information but only the starting point needed to determine whether or not you are part of the 10 percentile that is so allergic to mercury it caused or contributed to your having cancer.   Now you are going to use the information, knowledge and education you gained from Cutler’s “Hair Test Interpretation” to determine if you should consider amalgam (mercury) filling removal and replacement.

Hair Elements Test

Once you have processed the hair element test findings and determined whether they show “deranged mineral transport due to mercury” you will be equipped to answer the question.   “Should you consider having your mercury amalgam fillings removed?”

Whether or not your test shows “deranged mineral transport” is the answer all the education and work till now addresses.   It’s only if you have “deranged mineral transport due to mercury” that you need to remove your amalgams.

Determining the answer to the forgoing question is a very important reason you purchased the Cutler text.

Some of you will be fortunate and discover you are not in that 10 percentile where mercury causes deranged mineral transport.    If you are in this non-mercury sensitive group my strong suggestion would be you not consider amalgam replacement.   The risks are greater than any rewards you might receive.  The expense, discomfort and risks are simply not warranted.

If, like me, you are super sensitive to mercury, it is a major factor in causing chronic disease (i.e. your cancer).  You will need to put in considerable additional time, work and expense to accomplish safe amalgam replacement.
