Perhaps relating my experience will save you making a similar mistake? A few years back I had my amalgam fillings removed. I had decided to do so, after years of contemplation and fair amounts of research, to remove one likely cancer causing carcinogen from my body.
Unfortunately, I did a poor job of researching and a worse job of subsequent mercury detoxification. You will be happy to know the multipart (part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5) blog posts on amalgam filling replacement and the accompanying long-term mercury detoxification process is written with added knowledge in mind.
The major mistake was my failure to locate and use Andrew Cutler’s texts until I was already in the pickle I’ll describe below. I had failed to accomplish the long term mercury detoxification process needed following removal and thus, set myself up for serious trouble.
My Navarro Cancer Test, following amalgam replacement, had bumped up above 50.0 (which indicates cancer activity ) but I shrugged it off as a result of amalgam removal expecting the Navarro numbers to recede in subsequent tests.
Several months following amalgam removal I was not feeling particularly well. I wasn’t sure why but thought my fNHL was stable. I certainly was not enjoying the health improvements promised by amalgam replacement and was a little unhappy to have gone through the process for little perceived results.

My wife and I had business in Las Vegas during January. I thought the trip might cheer us up. Instead I caught a terrible case of flu and by the time we left Las Vegas was really feeling poorly. Weeks later, when I finally worked my way through the flu, there was what appeared to be a lingering eye infection.
Ocular fNHL
Unfortunately, my problem turned out to be much more serious than eye infection. As the weeks passed nodules started appearing around my left eyeball. They soon reached sizes and locations beside and behind the eye that altered the eyeball’s shape and positioning to where vision was seriously impaired. I now had a full blown case of Ocular non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma going.
Conventional medical wisdom, Ocular NHL is most always fatal. The options traditional doctors and Oncologists offered varied from radiation, with loss of the eye to a stem cell transplant, with the possibility of death from the procedure. (I had used the once in lifetime CHOP Chemotherapy option many years earlier.)
Having lived with fNHL for the better part of two decades I was not easily persuaded or stampeded into either of these options. Instead I went back to alternative protocols designed three years earlier to overcome a previous relapse. While this approach didn’t overcome Ocular NHL the nodules stopped growing and my situation became stable.
It was during this trying period I came across what I believe is landmark work by Andrew Hall Cutler. Cutler wrote two texts which included how to correctly identify mercury amalgam poisoning and the best way to address detoxification. I purchased Cutler’s “Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities” and did the Doctor’s Data Hair Test. Although my amalgams had been removed seven months earlier the hair test and subsequent calculations indicated “deranged mineral transport”, the dead giveaway I was suffering from serious mercury poisoning.
At the same time I needed to address the Ocular NHL I also needed to back up and correctly detoxify mercury. While my eye nodules were stable I still could not see well. And more importantly, since the optic nerve is a direct line to the brain I could not ignore taking proactive action to address the cancer.
The trick was going to be mercury detoxification and overcoming an ongoing cancer challenge at the same time. Choosing to approach this with alternatives meant limited help from conventional medicine.
Picking the mercury chelating agent was easy. I choose Alpha Lipoic Acid because it was a powerful mercury chelator, able to cross the brain barrier, had anti-cancer properties and was readily available. By this point I had purchased the Cutler’s 2nd text (Amalgam Illness: diagnosis and treatment) and was comfortable ALA would accomplish mercury detoxification if I persisted, used Cutler’s chelation frequency dose rates and followed my body’s guidance.
The Ocular fNHL was more difficult. Needing something different than the regimen of supplements used previously I was forced to get out of my comfort zone. The conclusion I came to was any (new to me) supplements or protocol used needed proven anti-cancer properties that worked. And they had to be low enough in toxicity I could safely accomplish long-term mercury detoxification while following the protocol.
I concluded Laetrile, in conjunction with the metabolic diet sounded promising, and choose to go that route. Though taxing during the process the results were hugely successful. A future post will cover the months of B-17 Metabolic diet used to successfully turn back Ocular NHL. The added bonus is I successfully removed mercury from my body, including organs concurrently and am in full clinical remission from all cancer.
